Consumer Guide has handed Fiat-Chrysler some bragging rights for the near future. On their 2016 Best Busy distinction list, the Dodge Durango earned a place on their ‘Best Buys of 2016’ list.

The 2016 Dodge Durango was placed on the ‘Large SUV Best Buy.’ This marks the fourth consecutive year that Consumer Guide has recognized the accomplished Durango. It’s hard not to see why, the Durango has been widely regarded as one of the best large SUVs on the market. Sales of the SUV has shown that drivers are still incredibly fond of it.

Tom Appel, Publisher of Consumer Guide Automotive, said about the numerous awards for FCA, “We are pleased to recognize FCA’s enduring success in the Large SUV and Large Pickup classes. We are equally please to award the newest Jeep crossover Best Buy status for 2016.”

Dodge Offers New Contest for Custom Garage

Would you want to have Dodge build you a garage? That’s a silly question, who wouldn’t want a Dodge garage? Think of what a garage door opening with 707 horsepower could do. It’d send that door straight into orbit.

Dodge is running a contest for them to give one lucky fan a custom garage. The way to enter is simple, just have a Dodge car and upload a video to their Facebook page showing why you deserve them to come on over and give you a garage makeover. There is a time limit on that plea, it is 60 seconds.

The contest ends on September 21^st and then five finalists will be selected. On October 7^th, those same finalists will be voted on by Dodge fans to see who is worthy of the garage. The winner of the contest gets a makeover worth of $20,000 and the four not so lucky finalists will get a Contur Cabinet Ltd’s Hi-Kab Kompact storage unit.

So if you want to win, get cracking on getting that video over to Dodge. Best of luck to all who enter.

Dodge Releases New Dodge Brothers Ads Directed by Adrien Brody

Dodge is continuing their ad campaign around celebrating the Dodge Brothers as part of the 100^th anniversary of the Dodge brand. For this second part of the campaign that began in 2014, Dodge has brought on an Academy Award-winning actor to direct the spots. That actor is Adrien Brody.

The first portion of the campaign focused mainly on the Challenger, showing the progression of the Dodge brand leading up to the modern age. For this new round of ads Dodge is adding more Dodge vehicles. The ones now being including are the Dart, Durango, Charger, and the Challenger Scat Packs.

In a statement, Fiat-Chrysler Chief Marketing Officer Olivier Francois said, “Today’s Dodge vehicle have the same passion for performance as John and Horace Dodge established in the first vehicles they crafted more than one hundred years ago.”

The first two spots are “Discovery” and “Drive By” where a modern Durango rolls up on a country club. The next videos will be “Morse Code” and “First Dodge.” View them here:
