Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger are the Most Ideal Vehicles

Two Dodge cars need to clear some space in their trophy case for some new awards. The Chrysler AutoPacific’s 2012 Ideal Vehicle Awards are out and have given high honors to the Dodge Charger and the Dodge Challenger.

The Ideal Vehicle Awards are based on 15 key attributes of owner ratings on a 2012 vehicle 90 days after they bought it. These points include power and acceleration, ride and handling, interior roominess, and cargo space. AutoPacific ended up surveying over 75,000 car owners to get their thoughts on which were the best.

The 2012 Dodge Charger is the Ideal Large Car. 90 percent of the Charger owners gave the highest rating of ideal to the exterior size, the ride and handling, even the ease of just getting inside the vehicle and getting back out. There were other features that received a great deal of praise from owners were the comfort of the seats, the tires, and the safety features.

The 2012 Dodge Challenger is the Ideal Vehicle for Sporty Cars. This is due in part to the powerful engine, the powerful and athletic exterior styling, and all the features that people want in a classic American muscle car.

Doug Betts, the Senior Vice President of Chrysler Group said in regards to the win, “Winning awards for Jeep and Dodge vehicles based on customer feedback is very gratifying. Recognition by the customers proves we take consumer input very seriously in all the vehicles we design and build at Chrysler.”
