Chrysler Group LLC is giving students the chance to flex their creativity for car design. The Detroit Autorama High School Design Competition 2015 is asking for any US public high school student in grades 10-12 to create the next-generation of cars. Chrysler wants to see what these minds want to see in a car made in the year 2025.

The grand prize for winning the competition is a $60,000 scholarship for the College for Creative Studies as well as a three-week CCS summer automotive design course. The winner also gets an Apple MacBook and even more.

All the student needs to do is to hand in their vision along with a 500 word essay and they could be enjoying a helping hand in starting a future in vehicle designs.

According to the rules, the student has to draw the design on a single sheet of white paper that is no bigger than 11-by-17 and can use pencils, markers, or paint to show off what they want to see in the car of the future. I’m just hoping that it somehow includes a hover mode. Still waiting on that flying car, so kids, now is the chance!  For full details on how to participate, click here.
